This Privacy Policy explains how DJs Need Luv 2 (“we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our DJ-first Platform for courses, marketplace listings, opportunities, community, live experiences, messaging, and related services. We do not sell your content.

We do not sell DJs' profiles, messages, posts, uploads, marketplace content, or learning activity.
We share data only to run the Platform, process payments, meet legal duties, protect users, or support features you choose to use.
You can update account settings, request help, or permanently delete your account and connected data below.
1. Introduction
DJs Need Luv 2 provides a platform for DJs to learn, earn, and connect. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, the choices you have, and how you may delete your account. This policy is part of our legally binding agreement with you and should be read together with our Terms of Service.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Account and profile: name, email, handle/display name, profile photo, bio, location, social links, and preferences.
- Membership and billing: subscription status, plan type, and payment-related metadata. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored on our servers.
- Marketplace activity: listings you create, orders, shipping/delivery updates, disputes, and related communications.
- Opportunities and contracts: job applications (such as name, email, phone, portfolio link, cover letter, rate/availability) and contract and signature records.
- Community and messaging: message board posts, direct messages, and any media/files you upload in threads.
- Creative and platform content: marketplace listings, downloads, lesson progress, comments, live stream participation, uploaded images, audio, video, and files you choose to provide.
- Safety and integrity: reports you submit, moderation actions (such as strikes), and related evidence you provide.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages viewed, features used, and interaction patterns.
- Device and log data: browser type, operating system, IP address, and approximate location inferred from IP.
- Cookies and similar technologies: used to maintain sessions, remember preferences, and support core functionality.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide and maintain Platform services (courses, marketplace, opportunities, community, messaging).
- Process subscriptions, purchases, refunds, disputes, and payouts.
- Send administrative messages and in-app notifications (for example, order updates or policy changes).
- Support safety features like reporting, blocking, and enforcing platform rules.
- Improve and secure the Platform, prevent fraud, and debug issues.
- Comply with tax, accounting, payment, consumer protection, and other legal obligations.
5. Data Storage & Security
We store platform data using Firebase (Google Cloud Platform) and apply security measures such as encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and security rules designed to restrict data access.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers. We may store limited payment metadata (for example, subscription status or transaction identifiers).
6. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Platform and for legitimate business purposes such as compliance, dispute resolution, safety enforcement, and recordkeeping. Retention periods vary depending on the type of data (for example, transaction records may be retained longer than profile preferences).
If you delete your account, we will permanently delete or de-identify Firestore records we can associate with your user ID, except where retention is necessary for legal compliance, payment records, chargeback prevention, security, fraud prevention, or unresolved disputes.
7. Your Rights & Choices
- Access and correction: you can update many account and profile fields through your dashboard.
- Email preferences: you can manage marketing and alert emails in your dashboard settings when available.
- Deletion: you may request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal, payment, safety, and operational retention requirements.
8. Delete Data & Account
Use the control below to permanently delete your account. This action is irreversible. It deletes your Firebase Authentication account and removes Firestore records associated with your user ID across the Platform where technically and legally permitted.
Deletion may not remove information that must be retained for compliance, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, payment processing, chargeback, dispute, or legal reasons. Public or shared content already copied, exported, cached, or lawfully retained by others may also remain outside our direct control.
10. International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States, where our service providers operate.
11. Children's Privacy
DJs Need Luv 2 is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us so we can address it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the Platform or by email.
